As valued members of the Bel Canto Chorus community, we share with mixed emotions that our upcoming Spring Concert on May 3, 2025, will be our final performance.

Our beloved conductor and artistic director, Dr. Bruce Vantine, has submitted his resignation to the Board of Directors, effective at the end of this semester. For decades, Bruce has brought excellence, passion, and heart to Bel Canto, and we are deeply grateful for his extraordinary leadership. We will also honor the dedicated service of David, whose contributions have enriched our community immeasurably.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, our chorus faced declining membership and ongoing financial challenges. After much reflection, the Board has made the difficult decision to bring Bel Canto’s journey to a close.

Bel Canto has always been more than a choir—it has been a family, a musical home, and a cherished space for connection, harmony, and joy. We are deeply thankful to each of you who have sung, supported, and celebrated with us over the years.

Please join us for our final concert and a farewell reception afterward, where we will celebrate Bruce, David, and the incredible legacy of this ensemble.
